Eligibility and Academic Requirements
Undergraduate students with a major or minor in the Department of Business and Economics may enroll in MGT 300 once in order to receive academic credit for approved internships. Business Administration Majors with a specialization in Sports Management Majors and Sports Management Minors may enroll in MGT 302 in order to receive academic credit once for approved internships.
Eligibility Requirements for enrollment in MGT 300/302 follow:
- Junior or Senior standing.
- Minimum GPA of 2.75.
- No prior enrollment in MGT 300/302.
- Must be a student majoring or minoring in a business discipline*
- Internships for credit must involved at least 150 hours of work over the course of the semester (or the summer).
*Students minoring in a business discipline must have already completed half of the courses required for completion of the minor before registering for MGT 300/302.
Additional Notes:
- Undergraduate students may enroll in MGT300/302 only once for academic credit, but are encouraged to pursue additional internships.
- Exceptions to any of these requirements are at the discretion of the instructor.
